In moments not working, even though they are rare ~ I enjoy my family, fitness, yoga, being outdoors, creating meals in the kitchen, & organizing.

Gibson Real Estate
Gibson Real Estate first opened in 1972 as a property management business. Over the years, owners Garry & Nikki Gibson grew the company to include real estate sales and appraisals. In 1992, they proudly welcomed their son, Chad Gibson, to the business as a real estate professional. Today, Nikki Gibson is still active in the property management division of Gibson Real Estate, and she & her husband provide valuable guidance to the company.
Chad Gibson assumed role as the president of Gibson Real Estate in the early 1990's. As business increased, he recruited a long time family friend, Kyle Shoults, to become a partner. Chad & Kyle have served on the local association, Terre Haute Area Association of Realtors, and MLS boards.
Throughout the years, Gibson Real Estate has continued to evolve & adapt in an ever-changing real estate market. We are proud to offer a TEAM of qualified & skilled agents, ready to meet your needs. Though founded almost a half century ago, we manage the business with the same sense of excitement & innovation as did its founders. These values have led Gibson Real Estate to be the local, successful firm it is today, focusing on customer service & client specific needs.
I have been in real estate since 2015. I came to Gibson from Northwest Indiana. I care about all my clients and taking care of their needs. The best part of my job is helping people find the home that fits their needs perfectly. With my husband being in the military, we have moved a lot, so I know how stressful it can be and I pride myself on making my clients feel as confident and comfortable as possible. I'm an expert negotiator and will work hard to make sure your needs are always top priority.
I was born and raised in Terre Haute, IN. I graduated from Indiana State University, and have 20 years of experience in the real estate profession. I bring a level of excitement to help my clients with all of their real estate needs.
I am detail-oriented, compassionate, dedicated, and have exceptional communication skills. In my free time, I enjoy watching my son David bowl, spending time with my husband Denver, and tackling various home remodeling projects.
I have roots in Mattoon, IL, and both my husband and I are alumni of the University of Illinois. Following our graduation, my husband embarked on a career as an Officer in the Army, leading us to relocate frequently. Upon his completion of service, we established Terre Haute as our permanent residence, where we have resided for nearly 15 years.
As a people-oriented individual, I derive fulfillment from assisting others and am known for my meticulous attention to detail. I am dedicated to guiding you and your family in discovering your ideal home.
During my leisure time, I enjoy engaging in board games with my son, taking strolls with our Corgi, Archie, immersing myself in true crime podcasts, and unwinding with my hubby.
Laurie, the ultimate Hautian cheerleader, is head over heels for her hometown. With a Master's Degree in Resource Development and a Bachelor's in Interior Design, she began her real estate journey as a leasing manager. Fueled by her passion to help others succeed on a much larger scale, she paved the way to becoming a real estate broker.
Watch out world, Laurie's on a mission! Laurie lives with her beloved husband, Ben; tiny daughter, Aurora; & fur baby, Daphne!
